Northern Maine RFI Released
This is the third request for information on this project.
Yesterday (April Fool’s, not) the third request for information on the Northern Maine project was released.
The requests for information have had different names and been in different dockets:
The first was called an Notice of Inquiry and was docket 2021-00223,
May 10, 2024: The second was called an RFI at docket 2024-00099
April 1, 2025: The third is called “Second Request for Information and Indications of Interest”, also in 2024-00099.

The most recent RFI has a response due date of June 2, 2025, with additional comments permitted until September 30 2025.
The lengthy comment period is because this project (likely) must coordinate with an ISO-NE RFP released two days ago. This RFP has a deadline of September 30, 2025 as well.
